We are excited to announce a curated educational journey for immersive, hands-on learning about world history! This week-long journey will cover the most impactful locations in and around Edinburgh, Scotland. Homeschoolers are welcome to apply to attend. After completing this journey, parents may assign educational credit as they choose in the topics of World History, Literature, Art & Architecture, and/or United Kingdom Social Studies. Overview:
Experiencing World History: Scotland
A hands-on, immersive and experiential week-long learning journey for junior high and high school students presented by Masterpoint. This class presents History, Literature, and Art, Architecture & Culture in a real and practical way by physically visiting the locations where history took place. On the tour students will be taken to historically significant locations and explore museums pertaining to the events. Following the class conclusion, students will be able to identify the major aspects of World and British History, Culture, Attitude, and Innovation. Participation in this tour is suggested for students aged 11-22.

What’s included: admission tickets to museums, productions, attractions, guided tours, etc., and 1:3 tutor/student ratio. Transportation, food, and souvenirs are not included and are at the personal responsibility of each student.
Itinerary: Students will explore Edinburgh, Iverness, Glencoe, Scotland and surrounding area.
Edinburgh Area Experiences: Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile, Arthur's SEAT,National Museum of Scotland, THe People's Story Museum, Holyrood Palace & Abbey, Stirling Castle, Kelpie Scuptures.
Inverness Area Experiences: Cullden Battlefield, Urquart Castle, Loch Ness, Clava Cairns, Glencoe.
